Billy Higginbotham is a Regent’s Fellow, Professor and Extension Wildlife and Fisheries Specialist with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences-Texas A&M University System. He has been headquartered at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Overton for the past 35 years. He holds a B.S. from Texas A&M University, a M.S. from Tennessee Tech University and a doctorate from Stephen F. Austin State University. A Tyler native, Dr. Higginbotham specializes in wildlife and fisheries management on private lands, wild pig damage abatement and natural resources school curriculum enrichment.
